Garden ponds are a favourite haunt of the FROG. Sunny days are best to spot a LIZARD.
Ornamental lakes are host to many water fowl including CANADA GOOSE,MALLARD, MOORHEN,COOT and MUTE SWAN. The garrulous STARLING is often seen probing garden lawns.
Buddleia attract brighlty coloured butterflies : RED ADMIRAL, PAINTED LADY and PEACOCK. SPECKLED WOOD frequent woodland and suburban gardens.
SMALL COPPER butterflies are often seen on ragwort, along with GATEKEEPERS. Infrequently seen, this FRITILLARY was not fully identified.
