Operations with small numbers
A flexible number grid which allows you to select numbers and multiply,
subtract, add or divide. Also allows you to see the effect in all the
numbers in the grid by changing the operation: Add 6 to all the numbers,
double all of them et etc. Suitable for KS1 and KS2 - deals with single
digits to tens of thousands.
Dudley Rating:
An opportunity to practice recall skills, A basic calculation sentence generator which allow you to hide the individual numbers within the sentence, the operation or the answer. Basic but good for generating classroom discussion of the type - "The answer is 24. What could the question be?"

Take any number and add or subtract 1, 10, 100 or 1000. Hide the number and add three lots of ten. What will the number be now. Reveal. Basic, but good for place value and counting sequences.

Allows you to generate totals of money by varying the amounts of 4 coins. Suitable for upper KS1 or lower KS2. Best for addition of money type problems. Generally a bit limited.

Choose from Bank A and Bank B which provide a choice of six numbers in each, then choose an operation and hide the total. At present it does not allow you to make a total and hide the numbers chosen. However, you could do this manually. The banks contain 2 digit numbers, 3 digit numbers, decimals to 1dp and decimals 2 dp and blank grid to insert your own numbers. Suitable for upper KS1 and KS2. Nearly fantastic.

Very useful spreadsheet for conversions of litres/ml, litres/cl and m/km. Contains an interactive and very useful m/km line graph. Suitable for KS2. Great.

This piece of software really contains spreadsheets that allow you to look at a sequence of numbers generated by adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing a number progressively. It also contains the identical pie chart as in the program above. At present, it contains a few bugs, so best to avoid. Suitable for KS1 and KS2.

Useful straight partitioning tool which allows you to generate and partition numbers into their component parts. You also have the option to hide and reveal these parts.
